Artist's Description
I love the quotation, "The only safe place to be is in the center of God's will," which I read in Corrie ten Boom's The Hiding Place. It was her sister Betsy's mantra. She understood that security could be achieved only in obedience to the will of God. I placed the quote with this bluebird of happiness as a reminder that happiness is achieved when we are one with God.

I am a retired high school English teacher who loves photographing nature with wild birds as my main interest. I live in southwestern Louisiana and enjoy the plethora of wildlife and waterfowl indigenous to the area; I also love landscape shots of the swamplands and marshes and wetlands of our state.
