The Eastern bluebirds come to my backyard birdbaths daily, almost sharp at 4 p.m. They are a joy to watch. Here are a male and female ready to dive in! (Taken in my backyard in south central Louisiana)

Kathy, more than a quarter of a century ago, I had no bluebirds. I installed bluebird boxes and ever since, they are permanent residents, each pair having 5 to 15 new baby bluebirds each nesting season. It's a joy to watch the juveniles, the offspring of two or three resident pairs, all splashing in the birdbaths together.
