Description
I photographed these orioles in my yard; I think the one on the left is an adult female and the one on the right is a younger male. I'm not sure, though, and would appreciate any help in identifying them correctly. (Update: the bird on the right may be a vagrant Fuertes's oriole, a species from Mexico; ornithologists are investigating this possibility).

I would say they are a pair of Baltimore Orioles. Given your home location and bird coloration, I would say they are changing into or from their non-breeding colors! Hope this helps! Certainly one of the very best I have seen of Baltimore Orioles!

Excellent capture. Yes, the one on the left is female. The male may be young because he is not yet as orange as he could be. V
