I photographed this little country church, lit up with Christmas lights, at Vieux Village in Opelousas, Louisiana. When I opened up the image on my computer, I was surprised to see that surrounding the moon was a star-shaped cloud! I didn't photoshop that in; it is exactly what my camera recorded on a December night in 2016. The star was in the Eastern sky. I interpreted this as a gift from the Lord. Maybe He thought the steeple needed a star, so He created this one just for it. Maybe He thought the world needed to see a star, just as the shepherds and the Wise Men did on that first Christmas night. I am grateful He sent me this gift straight from Heaven. I hope you enjoy it too.
