In these troubled times when the coronavirus threatens the entire world, it is very peaceful and reassuring to behold the beauty of nature during this Spring of 2020. When the news is blaring and the alarm bells are ringing, I listen to the reports and try my best to carefully follow all the guidelines for sanitation and safety to help alleviate and hopefully shorten this crisis, but equally important, I take time to behold the beauty in nature and soak in the peacefulness and normalcy and tranquility it imparts. These lovely songbirds, just going about their usual routines, remind me that the One Who watches over them is watching over all of us, too. My prayers for all of you go out with this post, with hopes that you are well and at peace.
I am a retired high school English teacher who loves photographing nature with wild birds as my main interest. I live in southwestern Louisiana and enjoy the plethora of wildlife and waterfowl indigenous to the area; I also love landscape shots of the swamplands and marshes and wetlands of our state. I try to do all this for the greater honor and glory of God who is the Creator of this beauty in abundance. I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you. God bless! Bonnie
